Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks for product roadmaps and market positioning
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for future market volatility and black swan events
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future trends into tangible innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and investor boards
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author white papers and thought leadership on future-proof business strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF) preferred
