Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture teams
- Produce strategic foresight reports and competitive analysis for emerging markets
- Design and facilitate scenario planning workshops for C-suite executives
- Build and manage an external network of academic, startup, and government innovation partners
- Translate complex technical trends into actionable product strategies
- Drive adoption of Horizon Labs' proprietary innovation methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy/innovation roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, MIT Press)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Proven track record of launching products based on 5+ year technology forecasts
- Experience with scenario planning tools and foresight methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
