As a Futurist & Strategic Innovation Lead, you'll pioneer methodologies for anticipating market disruptions, developing long-term scenario models, and translating foresight into actionable business strategies. This role combines deep analytical rigor with creative storytelling to prepare organizations for 2030+ challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks identifying disruptive technologies, social shifts, and economic megatrends through 2035
- Design scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives across finance, healthcare, and tech sectors
- Produce foresight reports with quantitative/qualitative analysis of innovation pathways
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-proof business models and organizational structures
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Present foresight insights to board-level stakeholders through compelling narratives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing scenario-planning frameworks for enterprise clients
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal impacts
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills for complex concepts
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation journals
- Experience facilitating executive workshops with Fortune 500 companies
