Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies with 2026+ market impact
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with company vision and investor expectations
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable R&D initiatives
- Present compelling future-state narratives to stakeholders and external partners
- Establish KPIs for innovation projects and oversee commercialization pathways
- Monitor global policy/regulatory shifts affecting emerging tech ecosystems
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, climate tech, or neuro interfaces
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive boards and venture capital audiences
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership on technological transformation
- Portfolio of implemented future-focused strategies
