Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to position the company for success in 2026 and beyond
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal evolution
- Develop and present strategic insights to senior leadership through compelling narratives and data-driven frameworks
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking across the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and their market implications
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis methodologies, and foresight frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making and drive organizational change
