Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying emerging trends and disruptive technologies with 3-5 year foresight
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives including horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis for global markets
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to translate future insights into actionable innovation projects
- Develop and present compelling future-state narratives to executive leadership and key stakeholders
- Establish and maintain an ecosystem of futurist partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry thought leaders
- Quantify innovation ROI through advanced metrics and impact assessment frameworks
- Mentor high-potential talent in futures thinking methodologies and strategic innovation processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology foresight with demonstrable impact on organizational strategy
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-suite decision-makers
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTR) or equivalent strategic foresight methodology
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation initiatives
