Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to monitor emerging trends, geopolitical shifts, and technological inflection points
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate breakthrough solutions with 3-5 year market viability
- Present strategic foresight briefings to executive leadership and board members using data-driven visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to accelerate innovation
- Champion ethical frameworks and responsible innovation protocols for emerging technologies
- Develop scenarios and contingency plans for potential disruptions across global markets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation, technology forecasting, or corporate foresight role
- Proven track record of translating future trends into market-ready products or services
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in matrix organizations
- Published research or thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
