Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts with 5-10 year impact
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients
- Facilitate executive workshops on future-proofing business models and operational resilience
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports disseminated at global innovation forums
- Manage a portfolio of R&D partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Mentor junior strategists in quantitative trend analysis and qualitative ethnographic research
- Represent the company at premier industry conferences as a thought leader
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in technology adoption curves and diffusion of innovation theories
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Deep understanding of AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence trajectories
- Experience leading multicultural teams across APAC, EMEA, and Americas markets
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or WFS)
