Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for long-term business planning and risk mitigation
- Produce trend reports and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking across departments
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of external futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Translate foresight insights into measurable KPIs and innovation pipelines
- Advise on emerging technologies including quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Experience with quantitative forecasting tools and qualitative research methods
- Deep understanding of emerging tech domains (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic impact
