Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to develop actionable 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize future scenarios and validate hypotheses with industry thought leaders
- Develop quantifiable risk mitigation strategies for emerging disruptors (AI ethics, quantum computing, climate adaptation)
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-proof business models and product roadmaps
- Author forward-looking thought leadership pieces published in top-tier industry publications
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or corporate futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal impact
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into stakeholder narratives
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFM, CFS) strongly preferred
