Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal changes impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for long-term business strategy and risk mitigation
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future trends into innovation roadmaps
- Deliver executive briefings and stakeholder presentations on future trends and strategic implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Publish thought leadership content on emerging paradigms in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Quantify future opportunities through data modeling and predictive analytics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Experience advising C-suite executives on future-proofing strategies
- Published work in futurist publications or conference presentations
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-strategy implementations
