Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience, quantum computing) to map 2026 industry landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation priorities with future-proof business models
- Produce actionable foresight reports for executive decision-making
- Identify and vet emerging technologies for strategic investment opportunities
- Build external partnerships with futurists, academic institutions, and think tanks
- Present foresight findings to stakeholders using compelling data visualization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ foresight projects or published research
