Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotechnology, quantum computing, and sustainable energy sectors
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ product roadmaps and market positioning
- Produce executive-level scenario planning reports and risk assessments
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on future opportunities
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic initiatives
- Represent company vision at industry conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, futures research, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technology analysis and trend forecasting
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities for executive audiences
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementation of future-facing initiatives
- Deep knowledge of global megatrends and their industry implications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight preferred
