Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market landscapes
- Lead scenario-planning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Champion human-centered design principles in future-state product development
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate emerging technology applications
- Present strategic insights to executive leadership and external stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of innovation analysts and futurist practitioners
- Publish thought leadership on future trends in industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic plans
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight projects with measurable business impact
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
