Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize insights from AI, biotech, climate tech, and socio-economic shifts
- Produce executive-ready strategic roadmaps with quantifiable impact projections
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging disruptors and paradigm shifts
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing principles into innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and external stakeholders
- Maintain a proprietary knowledge base of emerging signals and weak signals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategy
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies, Delphi techniques, and scenario modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level storytelling capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, Systems Thinking, or equivalent
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, CSO) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
