Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026+ foresight strategies using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead interdisciplinary innovation workshops with R&D, product, and sustainability teams
- Produce strategic whitepapers on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify emerging market opportunities
- Design organizational change frameworks for future workforce adaptation
- Present strategic vision to board members and external stakeholders
- Oversee Horizon Lab's annual Future Outlook publication
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Expertise in exponential technologies and disruptive business models
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in tech or sustainability sectors
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Strong network within Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
