Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Provide tier-2 technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring minimal downtime for our employees.
- Network Management: Monitor and maintain the local network infrastructure to ensure secure and high-speed connectivity.
- Asset Management: Manage the inventory of IT equipment, including laptops, printers, and peripherals, ensuring accurate tracking.
- Security Compliance: Assist in implementing security protocols and perform regular system updates to protect sensitive data.
- User Assistance: Conduct training sessions for staff on new software applications and security best practices.
- Helpdesk Operations: Respond to incoming support tickets via email and phone with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is highly preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems; familiarity with Active Directory and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues.
