Your Day-to-Day
As a Junior Tech Support Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our internal and external clients. You will troubleshoot issues, guide users through solutions, and document technical resolutions to improve our knowledge base.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for end-users in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical guidance via phone, email, and remote desktop support.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to escalate complex issues and implement long-term solutions.
- Conduct basic training sessions for new employees regarding company IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
