Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight roadmap through trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and global innovation hubs
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies and product roadmaps
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and board members quarterly
- Manage a $5M innovation fund for prototyping emerging technologies
- Mentor a team of 3 junior futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futures research with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend forecasting, and technology adoption curves
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation (e.g., Harvard Business Review)
- Experience leading cross-continental innovation initiatives with global teams
- Strong proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Systems Thinking)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
