Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Manage inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and maintain accurate stock records.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve logistics issues.
- Ensure all safety protocols and compliance regulations are strictly followed in the warehouse.
- Process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and customs forms.
- Train and mentor new warehouse staff on operational procedures.
- Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate standard warehouse equipment (e.g., forklift) preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
