Responsibilities
- Oversee daily logistics operations, including receiving, shipping, and inventory management during the weekend shift.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (OSHA compliance) and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Monitor productivity metrics and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and reduce errors.
- Manage inventory accuracy and resolve any discrepancies immediately to support our supply chain flow.
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle emergency situations and escalations with composure and decisiveness.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience is highly preferred.
- Forklift certification and ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
