Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign measurements, and preliminary health assessments
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor clinical procedures
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records using EHR systems
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments and manage efficient patient flow
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or equivalent training
- 1+ years of clinical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA compliance
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
