Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and injections under physician supervision
- Assist with patient intake and electronic health record documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Administer basic laboratory tests and specimen processing
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and strict confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic procedures
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
