Responsibilities
- Continuous Monitoring: Monitor server environments and network infrastructure 24/7 to ensure maximum uptime and operational integrity.
- Hardware Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on server racks, UPS systems, and cooling units to prevent downtime.
- Emergency Response: Execute rapid response protocols for hardware failures and security alerts with precision and speed.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of all maintenance activities, system changes, and incidents.
- Collaboration: Coordinate seamlessly with the day shift team to ensure a smooth transition of system statuses and operational handovers.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
- Availability: Must be willing to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and occasional weekends.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs during shifts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure.
