We are looking for a problem-solver who can work independently during the late hours to monitor alerts, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain 99.99% uptime for our clients across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network traffic, server health, and system performance 24/7 using specialized NOC tools.
- Respond to and resolve critical alerts and incidents immediately during the night shift window.
- Perform routine patch management, configuration updates, and security hardening on core infrastructure.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and network changes in our ticketing system (Jira/ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with day-shift engineering teams to hand off ongoing projects and ensure continuity.
- Conduct late-night infrastructure maintenance and backups without disrupting business operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Network Engineering or System Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, VPNs, Firewalls (ASA/Firepower), and LAN/WAN topology.
- Ability to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotating schedule.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a focus on downtime reduction.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit local data centers if needed.
