Responsibilities
- Supervise Night Operations: Oversee daily logistics, inventory management, and workflow processes during the evening shift to ensure 100% operational efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, coach, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse associates to maintain high productivity and morale levels.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to create a zero-accident work environment.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in night operations and implement strategic solutions to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
- Quality Control: Monitor output quality and inventory accuracy to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
- Shift Reporting: Generate and submit detailed shift reports to upper management, highlighting key metrics, issues, and successes.
- Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine maintenance checks for forklifts and material handling equipment to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to lead briefings effectively.
- License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
