Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services for our core platform.
- Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts during night operations to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement patches or hotfixes with minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with the morning shift team to hand off tickets and ensure seamless continuity.
- Optimize database queries and refactor legacy code for improved efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the engineering team's technical roadmap.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Python, or Go.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively during night shifts.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
