Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trailers and shipping containers.
- Inventory Management: Organize and stock inventory in the warehouse efficiently and accurately.
- Shipping Preparation: Pack goods securely for shipment and verify accuracy against packing lists.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Maintain Facility: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and a positive work history.
- Basic Math: Ability to count, sort, and perform basic arithmetic.
- English Proficiency: Basic reading and writing skills to follow instructions and safety signs.
- Teamwork: Willingness to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
