Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality control.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment (5S standards).
- Documentation: Accurately complete shipping documents, packing lists, and time logs.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team to ensure a seamless transition.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality and dependability.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is preferred but not strictly required.
- Computer Skills: Basic proficiency with computers or handheld scanners.
- Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
