Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a professional and courteous manner to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Process transactions efficiently using point-of-sale systems and handle cash or credit payments correctly.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively, escalating complex issues to the management team when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all inventory and product displays are up to standard.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus.
- Previous customer service or retail experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
