Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot Hardware & Software: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to computers, printers, and network connectivity for end-users.
- Customer Support: Provide exceptional technical support and assistance to guests and employees via phone, email, or in-person.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance, installation, and configuration of hardware and software systems.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain an inventory of IT equipment, ensuring all assets are accounted for and in good working order.
- Documentation: Accurately document technical issues, solutions, and steps taken to resolve tickets in our support ticketing system.
- Onboarding Assistance: Help with the setup of workstations for new hires and temporary staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical support, IT help desk, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if required.
