Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for hardware and software issues, including troubleshooting printers, laptops, and peripherals.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices and workstations.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and ensure seamless communication for remote and in-office staff.
- Document all IT incidents, requests, and resolutions in the ticketing system in a clear and timely manner.
- Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute software updates and security patches.
- Maintain inventory of hardware assets and assist with the onboarding process for new employees.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or a related technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
