Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues for clients, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Client Support: Provide exceptional technical support via phone, email, and in-person, acting as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical users.
- System Maintenance: Perform routine system checks, software updates, and security patches to maintain optimal performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all technical issues, resolutions, and client interactions in our CRM system.
- Asset Management: Assist in the inventory management of equipment, including tracking laptops, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Training: Conduct brief training sessions for end-users on new software tools and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or IT assistance.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking concepts.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot problems creatively and efficiently under pressure.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time hours (approx. 20-25 hours per week), including some evenings or weekends if required.
