Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in designing and implementing quantum machine learning algorithms
- Drive R&D initiatives for quantum-resistant encryption and AI optimization
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum processors for AI workloads
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Develop patents and intellectual property strategies for quantum AI innovations
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and establish best practices for quantum AI development
- Partner with industry leaders to prototype quantum AI solutions for autonomous systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or AI research
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published record in quantum computing or AI (Nature/IEEE/QIP preferred)
- Expertise in tensor networks and quantum error correction
- Strong background in deep learning architectures (transformers, GANs)
- Demonstrated ability to secure $1M+ in research funding
