Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning models for complex optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing hybrid quantum-classical AI architectures
- Author breakthrough research papers for Nature Quantum and IEEE journals
- Translate theoretical quantum algorithms into deployable enterprise solutions
- Secure $2M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum computing at our Austin Research Campus
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters (HPC)
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for government contracts
