Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI acceleration
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects with quantum computing and ML teams
- Develop quantum neural network architectures for industrial applications
- Publish breakthrough research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants and patents
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies on quantum-AI pilot programs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum machine learning
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM, AWS Braket)
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding
