Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop error-corrected quantum processors
- Author peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with government agencies on post-quantum cryptography standards
- Develop novel neural network architectures optimized for quantum annealers
- Secure patents for breakthrough quantum-AI hybrid methodologies
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Expertise in at least one classical ML framework (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to secure $500k+ in research funding
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
