Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for AI acceleration
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid architectures
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing systems
- Author peer-reviewed publications for top-tier scientific journals
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants annually
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip designs
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 3+ years experience with quantum machine learning frameworks
- Expertise in Cirq, Qiskit, or similar quantum SDKs
- Published research in Nature/Science journals
- Proficiency in tensor networks and quantum simulation
- Strong background in deep learning architectures
- Experience with superconducting or photonic quantum systems
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
