Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop error-correction protocols for quantum processors operating at 100+ qubit coherence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum algorithms for real-world deployment
- Establish security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions to advance quantum hardware capabilities
- Translate quantum computational theory into practical business solutions
- Document quantum system architectures and performance metrics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design principles
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or demonstrated industry impact
- Strong background in classical high-performance computing architectures
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Deep understanding of quantum cryptography and post-quantum security
