Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for AI optimization and molecular modeling
- Establish quantum security protocols resistant to 2026-era cyber threats
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize qubit coherence and error correction
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks for real-world deployment
- Conduct research on quantum machine learning applications for autonomous systems
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to C-suite executives and government stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with cloud quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into business applications
- Security clearance eligibility (for government-contracted projects)
- Knowledge of NISQ-era limitations and fault-tolerant computing roadmap
