Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Develop quantum algorithms optimized for error correction and qubit stability
- Partner with academic institutions to advance quantum research initiatives
- Create security frameworks for quantum-resistant encryption systems
- Present architectural blueprints to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive innovation roadmap for quantum computing product lines
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing architecture or equivalent
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction protocols
- Experience with cryogenic systems and superconducting qubits
- Strong track record of leading technical teams to deliver complex systems
- Ability to translate quantum concepts for non-technical stakeholders
