Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum algorithms for cryptography and molecular modeling
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing infrastructure
- Lead research in error correction for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with biotech teams to develop quantum-optimized DNA sequencing
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Secure patents for proprietary quantum architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in superconducting qubit manipulation or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in quantum circuit simulation tools (Cirq, Qiskit Aer)
- Publication record in Nature/Science or IEEE journals
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and quantum control systems
