Responsibilities
- Architect quantum algorithms and error-corrected systems for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Design scalable quantum hardware interfaces and control systems
- Develop proprietary quantum machine learning frameworks
- Collaborate with clients to implement quantum solutions in finance, logistics, and healthcare
- Stay current with breakthroughs in quantum decoherence mitigation
- Present quantum computing roadmaps to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and error correction protocols
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum SDKs
- Publication record in quantum computing research (Nature/Science preferred)
- Experience building fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts for non-technical audiences
- Strong background in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Security clearance eligibility required
