Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Develop novel quantum algorithms optimized for 2026-era hardware capabilities
- Architect scalable quantum processors with >1000 qubit connectivity
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Establish quantum security frameworks for next-generation data protection
- Collaborate with NASA and DOD on quantum-resistant encryption standards
- Drive quantum cloud integration for enterprise clients
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error mitigation
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
- Proven track record of translating quantum theory to practical applications
