Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms to solve complex optimization problems
- Collaborate with physicists to validate quantum hardware performance metrics
- Create quantum security frameworks protecting 2026-era data ecosystems
- Lead prototyping of quantum machine learning pipelines for real-world deployment
- Document architectural blueprints and publish technical whitepapers
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing architecture or quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Certification in quantum machine learning frameworks
