Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures capable of solving complex optimization problems
- Develop quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Collaborate with experimental physicists to translate theoretical models into functional quantum processors
- Create error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum software engineers and hardware specialists
- Publish groundbreaking research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Advise Fortune 500 clients on quantum computing implementation strategies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in quantum computing architecture or algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Published research in quantum information science or top-tier quantum computing conferences
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
