Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum circuits with error correction protocols for 2026 deployment
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization
- Lead integration of quantum processors with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Research topological qubit architectures for industrial applications
- Mentor junior engineers on quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Collaborate with hardware teams on cryogenic system specifications
- Author technical whitepapers for IEEE and Nature journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quipper)
- Published research in quantum error correction or fault tolerance
- Expertise in quantum simulation frameworks (Qiskit Aer, Cirq Simulator)
- Strong background in algebraic topology and category theory
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Security clearance preferred (DOD/NASA projects)
