Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms with 100+ qubit stability
- Integrate quantum-classical hybrid systems for enterprise-scale solutions
- Drive research on topological qubits and error correction methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize cryogenic control systems
- Develop quantum security protocols for next-gen data protection
- Mentor junior engineers and publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with 8+ years experience)
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware design
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with superconducting qubits or ion trap systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Ability to secure DoD or NSF-level clearances preferred
