Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum architectures supporting 10,000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum-classical hybrid algorithms for optimization problems
- Implement fault-tolerant quantum error correction protocols
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects
- Collaborate with physics teams on qubit coherence optimization
- Document quantum system specifications for patent applications
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years experience with quantum circuit design
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in quantum algorithms and complexity theory
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Familiarity with cryogenic quantum systems and control electronics
