Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and drug discovery
- Design and implement error-correction protocols for next-gen quantum processors
- Secure $10M+ in government and private research grants
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE Quantum)
- Mentor PhD researchers and establish industry-academic partnerships
- Develop commercialization strategies for quantum-resistant security solutions
- Present breakthrough findings at global tech forums including Davos and Web Summit
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological qubits
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, DARPA)
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum development frameworks
- Experience leading teams of 10+ researchers in high-stakes environments
- Deep understanding of post-quantum cryptography standards (NIST PQC)
- Patent portfolio with at least 3 quantum computing-related IP assets
- Fluency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization techniques
